Well I have a little basic knowledge on Vista. One of the main things that I like about it is the nicely designed GUI. The interface looks really good. As far as more features it has several but maybe not as much as I would have hoped. I know a lot of people are waiting at least a year to get it so the bugs can be worked out.

It's better than XP of course but maybe not a ton better. Of course the only time that I was actually on Vista was when I was looking at computers at Best Buy. I've just been reading about it.

Agree with you. I just hate how "some mac users" always they that microsoft copies. THey have no knowledge of computer and go ahead arguieng. Although Windows Vienna does sound intersting

This is the next gen in cumputers. Mac has already lost. Microsoft has kills Mac. so bad with the zoom and Vista. It cost alot though...

I might be looking into it once they release a service pack(or have they already?) or fix most of the bugs. One problem with it is a lot of things are not compatible that are older ver.

I might even skip Vista all together. There are plans for the next OS (called Windows 7 aka Vienna) to be released around 2010. By that time, I'll need a new computer. And I will just get Vienna freshly loaded on it, I can save some good money by skipping Vista. There's really not a whole lot of differences between Vista and XP, besides the looks. I might change my mind. We'll see how it all plays out.

It's a ram guzzler, I've never tried it, but I've heard horror stories.
