The Sith

In the early years of the Old Republic, certain Jedi turned to the dark side of the Force. These "Dark Jedi" were defeated by their former allies, and fled to the far reaches of the galaxy, where they conquered a powerful but malleable species named the Sith. Treated as gods by their new subjects, the Jedi exiles proclaimed themselves the Lords of the Sith. The Sith Lords built a vast empire, conquering many worlds and races. Five thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, a power struggle between rival Sith Lords Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh for control of the Sith Empire brought the Sith, and their dark-side knowledge, back into Republic Space. This also was the start of the Great Hyperspace War. After this war the Sith Lords were cast out again until another battle. The Battle of Ruusan was a massive battle with countless deaths of both Jedi and Sith. The Jedi eventually did win, but not without a very strong fight. Darth Bane convinced his master, Darth Kaan, to use a thought bomb to destroy all of the Jedi in the battle. Unknowing to Darth Kaan, a thought bomb destroyed all lifeforms that had a trace of the Force within them. This bomb killed the Jedi that were at the battle and the Sith. The Jedi thought that all of Sith were destroyed in this battle, but they did not know that just before the bomb was ignited Darth Bane fled. The Sith stayed in the shadows for nearly a millenium waiting for the right moment to take back control of the galaxy.

A thought bomb is a device that actually feeds on the force. It absorbs all lifeforms that hold or use the force. In the process of taking the force from these beings, it kills them.

Sith were very aggresive but had to be a very patient group. To wait a Millenium, wow. Palpatine was also very patient. He pretended to be a good guy for a long time. Being a Senator, then becoming Chancellor, and gaining all that power took a lot of years. And I don't see how he could take it. Putting on a face for the Jedi and all.

Sure, what do you want to know about them? They're hairy lizards, about a meter in length. They live in the upper levels of the forests of Myrkr; it is extremely difficult to remove the animals from their home tree without hurting them. Their one remarkable trait, apparently developed a a defense mechanism against their natural predators the Vornskrs, is the ability to repel the force from a bubble around themselves. They made their first appearance in Heir to the Empire and have been used quite extensively since then.

the cool thing is that some of the imperials use the yasilamri.l Since they can prevent the force. The comaders use them in the novels. I don't really know why. against vader???/

I only saw em' used with the Heir to the Empire set. They are flippin awesome though, my fellow Rebel Pilot, Ace, has one carved on his lightsaber handle. (in my RP)
